With stunning views, our retreat from busy London is situated on Värmdö, one of the larger islands (out of 24,000) in the Stockholm archipelago. Perfect to get away from it all...

A normal day usually consists of us waking up to the birds, having breakfast on the decking overlooking the glittering sea, and then swim or sail until it's time for the afternoon barbecue with grilled salmon and a nice glass of chilled white. The house is also perfectly located for daytrips further out into the archipelago or in to beautiful Stockholm (30 min) with it's many restaurants, museums, amusement parks, shopping, nightlife etc. We are sure that whatever your interests, a week here will put the wind back in your sails.

PS. The house has been renovated recently and now have all mod cons from the kitchen's ceramic hob to the living rooms projector, 50inch plasma screen and wireless internet access. Note that this is however not a luxury hotel but a family holiday home with portraits on the walls and spices/coffee etc in the cupboards.
